This is my new favorite Colleen Hoover book. The whole story was incredible and heartbreaking. Even the author’s note at the beginning of the book made this story more emotional for the fact that the confessions were real.

The prologue with Auburn and Adam crushed me. What a way to start a book!

I loved that Owen created art out of confessions, and I enjoyed the fact that the book included actual visuals of what his work looked like.

Auburn and Owen were great together and had chemistry from the beginning. The fact that they both had secrets and terrible things that they had gone through made them work together really well. I also felt for them because their stories were so tragic.

I despised Lydia and Trey so much. They were terrible to both Auburn and Owen.

The ending really wrapped up the story nicely, but it was also sad.

Overall, this book is beautiful, and I will definitely be reading it again in the future.

First things first, I was kind of frustrated when I went searching through reviews and couldn't find trigger warnings. I'm glad I asked a friend beforr I read too far. Friends, please remember that not everyone's triggers are the same... so I will be including trigger warnings - I don't care if they are spoilers or not.
I liked the book. It was a good story. And the inclusion of the artwork was unique and I loved the art. Especially the idea of the art with the confessions. There was just so much lying and sadness in this book... I think CoHo and I just don't get along in that regard. I want happier stories - I hear enough sad stories about rough lives in real life. But I do think elements of this one were really important and it is well written.
