The storyline packed in twists and turns alongside making me feel every emotion. I felt tense through quite a large portion of the book and at times, I directed that mistrust and suspense at the wrong characters. I think that’s one reason I loved this book as you didn’t know who to trust especially the first half of the book. The art included in Confess was breathtaking and so beautiful and powerful. I think it is also worth mentioning how incredible and moving it is that all the confessions mentioned in this book were submitted by real people. With the art, confessions and plot combined, this is a clever, moving book.

Owen really won my heart and that last chapter?! My heart shattered all because it was so heartbreaking but so beautiful and touching all at the same time! I don’t think I connected completely with Auburn but I enjoyed her journey of becoming this strong, young woman and standing up for herself.

This was a fast paced book (which I love) but at times, it’s felt too fast paced, so I didn’t get the full experience of some scenes. I think this may be why I didn’t connect with Auburn as much as I wanted to (as well as one of her actions in particular despite my feelings about Trey).

Holy crap, CoHo doesn't miss?? I feel like I've read her best yet that I was prepared to feel underwhelmed with this, but now I question why I'd considered it in the first place. Seriously, what does she lace her books to make it this engrossing???

In true CoHo fashion, there's a compelling, if not mind-blowing, plot twist. And a part of me will always expect to be highly invested in her characters simply because they always have a story to tell. I don't necessarily think Auburn & Owen's are my favorites, but I cant help but feel strongly for them because I know what it's like to feel that you don't have a choice over something.

Overall, Confess gave me that same liberating feeling I get with every CoHo book I've checked out so far, and I am always gonna want more of it.

before i say anything else, let me just say.. this book left me in such unexpected tears. i was not ready to sob whatsoever. per usual, the coho plot twist GOT me. the story of owen mason gentry and auburn mason reed is one for the storybooks. i adored auburn’s determination (as did owen) and drive. her pure love and selflessness was admirable. owen is unlike others. his way of showing love is truly remarkable and extremely meaningful in ways that can’t be described in words. there were so many amazing moments near the end.. i can’t describe it. just. just read it. trust me.
