claire keegan has such a way of writing characters that develop in such a short span of time it’s truly a masterpiece, the way she says so much with so little i truly think i have to now read everything she’s written

Listened to the audiobook, which is only an hour and a half long. I've been going through a massive reading slump for the last few months, and listening to this has really helped. Read this first when I was in school, and I really enjoyed it this second time. I found it to be a really endearing story, with so many heartwarming and funny moments. For such a short novel, Keegan really uses the small word count to say a lot.
