Well, that was an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. I'd planned on dragging this out a bit longer, but between its readability and an old cat sleeping on my lap, I ended up finishing in just a few hours.

Learned that the Incas were extremely bureaucratic. Also learned about how "the past and the present, the living and the dead, and the land and the people who lived on it" were viewed as interconnected and complementary. Plus, animal and human sacrifice, mummy worship, and Inkarri.

Ends with a lovely annotated list of additional readings -- I thought the Huarochiri Manuscript was super interesting, so glad to know where to learn more about it!
