I thought this was a Christmas rom-com. Spoiler alert - it is not. There is romance, but there is also a lot of sadness. Not a book I'd re-read at Christmastime, that's for sure. I enjoyed it and think I would like it more if I wasn't expecting a Christmas story. Well written but oh so sad.

This was not the cheeky romance I was expecting. It had me up all night and crying on public transit. Rushed ending tho.

I did not like this book. It went from light pointless discussions of people's appearance in detail to death. The death came out of nowhere - you think it's a light pointless book and then wham.

Not a light, holiday read but also not heavy on the romance. As Max and Josie bump into each other every few months due to mutual friends, they never seem to be single at the same time, but they also weren't very good at communicating. I wish their relationship had been developed more, but even so, the ending was heartbreaking.
