Every volume of The Apothecary Diaries seems packed with character development and plot twists or mysteries. Volume Six, especially, was a whirlwind of plot movement. Whew. I’m exhausted. And so, so, so eager to read the next chapters. 

I’m absolutely loving medicinal-herb-crazy Maomao, the historical setting of Imperial China, all of the court intrigue, and how all the seemingly separate mysteries in previous volumes are coming together. My mind is blown!
