What do you get when you have a busy PI, schizophrenic assistant, a police detective boyfriend and a crime reporter with amnesia? A very interesting series by TR Ragan. I loved this book, it feels like it may be the final of the series and I am sad to see it go. TR does a good job balancing the characters and providing the depth needed to enjoy getting to know all of them.
Even though there sometimes seemed to be several different stories going on at one time, I never felt any confusion and she always managed to tie them together. I know some reviewers like to provide a premise, but I feel like sometimes it is too revealing. So I'll just leave it with this.
If you like mystery and suspense with a little bit of camaraderie, funny, fun, drama and a touch of love, then you will enjoy reading this series and book!
Thank you to Thomas & Mercer via NetGalley for providing a digital ARC of Buried Deep by TR Ragan for review. All opinions expressed in this review are my own personal opinions.

Book Review: Buried Deep by T.R. Ragan
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Genre: Thriller
Published: 4/16/19
Summary: Two missing persons. One apparent suicide. Three cases pushing PI Jessie Cole and crime reporter Ben Morrison closer to the edge. Lacey Geiger could be a very rich woman. If Jessie Cole can find her. The beneficiary of a sizable estate, Lacey vanished years ago after escaping an abusive childhood and is veiled now behind a new identity. Jessie has two weeks to find her. It’s enough time to discover that Lacey is hiding from so much more than anyone realized. But she isn’t the only one with secrets. And Jessie’s not the only one searching for the truth. A concerned daughter has asked for help finding her mother - a woman said to have been murdered thirty years ago. And Jessie’s colleague Ben, an amnesiac still struggling with the bloody memories of a shattered life, is nearer to piercing together a very dark picture. Especially when someone he detests is found dead, hanging from a tree by a riverbank. Now as the mysteries, puzzles, and lies of three investigations are unearthed, Jessie and Ben will risk everything to bring all that is hidden into the light.
Review: What a great ending to this series. Everything was wrapped up at the end of the book with some happy endings and a lot of questions answered. I was surprised by the ending with Ben and was so happy for Jessie Cole. This book had a lot of ups and downs and I found myself chanting at times wanting to have things happen a certain way lol! Definitely recommend this series!

Buried Deep I see the 4th book in the PI Jessie Cole series and I certainly hope not the last...but it felt like the end. TR Ragan writes such fantastic, addictive stories with characters that feel like family. I have been a fan of her book since I picked up Abducted, the first book in the Lizzie Gardner series which I devoured and was also sad to see end. Jessie Cole and her niece Olivia, boyfriend Cole, Zee the schizophrenic work college and Ben the newspaper writer have all become dear to me and I love picking up the next instalment. If this is the end then I am looking forward to what comes next.
As this is book 4 in this series I highly recommend that you start from beginning of the series. So much happens to all the characters in each book and you really need to know all of this going into Buried Deep. They are all available on kindle unlimited so you really have no excuse not to read them all!
Again we go on a roller coaster ride in this book with 3 cases all happening at the same time. Jessie has been asked to assist in locating Lacey Geiger who disappeared many years ago and is thought to be living under a new name in Sacramento. Zee is working on her first case trying to find Arlene, Penny's daughter who until recently was beloved to have been murdered by her husband. And then there is Ben who is still trying to piece his past together. He is working on follow up stories to cases from his past and memories start to flash back. When suspected paedophile Roger Willis is released on bail and later found dead, Ben is one of the top suspects.
There is. It a chance to relax when reading this book, you will want to know what is happening next in all these storylines. As always I powered through this book and read it in 2 sittings. I love this series and any fans of detective novels will do too.
Thanks to Thomas and Mercer and NetGalley for my advanced copy of this book to. All opinions are my own and are in no way biased

I really love these book but it feels like they're getting shorter and shorter, giving us less info we are seeking! The best part of this story was Lacy if I'm honest. I hope the next installment is chalk full of info!
