The Pearl Sister is number 4 in the seven sisters series and is centered on CeCe D'Aplièse who feels she never fits in anywhere. CeCe's story sees her watching her closest sister Star separate from her and become her own independent person which deeply hurts CeCe and she finds herself alone for the first time. CeCe's story sees her travel to Australia to discover the truth about her family.

I really enjoyed this one in the series! At first I wasn't too sure if I liked CeCe I found her a bit selfish and dominating in Stars story but the more I got to know her in this book the more she grew on me. I especially loved her ancestor Kitty's story in this and I was hooked right from the start of her chapters. Again another enjoyable book in the series that I would recommend!

Another excellent installment in the series. I didn’t know much about pre-WWI Australia so I enjoyed learning something new!

I keep thinking that I won’t possibly love the next one as much as the last and then I do!!! Loved learning about this era in history and all the cultural aspects, so interesting.

Loved the background story but disliked the turns of events regarding her own personal love-life. I simply thought that it would mean something more and was left disappointed. I would have cut one or the other out of the story. Why can't she just make friends instead of love-interests?
