While I really enjoyed this book, I did get annoyed at the two plots that didn't go anywhere. I won't say more, but at one point I actually flicked back several chapters thinking I'd misread it, because what seemed like an important plot point came to nothing - and that was the more minor one.

Each one I swear is the best one, and then the next one always ends up being better.
