A classic, with nothing mind-blowing. Always a good read though.

Meh, it was written okay but the only purpose of every female character was to move along the plot for every male character and it was boring and sexist and I don't have the time to write a review on it.

I hadn’t read The Crucible in AGES. The BBC radio production was an absolutely captivating presentation of a classic tale. The Crucible will forever be one of those stories I could pick up any day and read straight through.

Fantastic, easy read - a criticism on McCarthyism through a retelling of the Salem witch trials. I read it pre-9/11, though I would have never guessed it could be applicable a couple of years later with the Patriot Act.
