Honestly I don’t think I could shout harder about how good these books are! They feel like pure master classes in storytelling. Every scene, every line is rich with story and character! Can’t wait to read the next volume!

While it isn’t perfect, there is a chapter in this book that is as affecting as any single chapter I’ve ever read, and it makes the rest of the book have more heft as a result. The characters are rich (especially Raistlin), and there are genuinely strong, earnest thematic treatments of fate and family. This is one of Weis and Hickman’s best.
