Twists are great and interesting but the book isn’t for me. The characters were a bit difficult to enjoy.

I read the kindle sample, and did not feel invested enough to buy the second book. 3 more POVs are introduced, bringing the total up to 7 which is WAY too much. Also suddenly all the love interests behave like love sick puppies, when in the previous book their emotions were only alluded to. This completely broke any tensions for me, and that combined with the slow pacing was sadly enough to lose interest.

Legacy of the heirs- Little to no spoiler review
✨Genre: Fantasy with romance
✨Rating: 10000/5
✨Multiple POV
✨Book 2/5 of the lost kingdom saga
✨Format: e-arc on kindle

I was incredibly grateful to receive an e-arc of this book and it was absolutely incredible. It carries on from the events at the end of secrets of the dead and from the start my heart was breaking laura made me want to cry in chapter 4 and that was just the start this book honestly destroyed me it was just incredibly well written and i would've never guessed anything that was going to happen. I loved getting more characters povs and seeing each side to the same story. Laura put my heart back together with the adorable scenes and also the spicy in this was soooo well written there wasn't a lot but what we got was all we needed because it healed me and got me giggling and kicking my feet (tent ikyk).

The character development of each and every one of them was one of the best i've ever scene. Laura continues to have me questioning everyone but knowing there are a select few i'll always be able to trust. I can't wait to get more information about certain people and see how everything plans out after the events at the end of the book.

Did i need 3-5 working days to recover? yes
Do i want to reread it? yes
I would highly recommend this book but make sure you have read secrets of the dead first
Be prepared for laughter, cuteness, heartbreak and sobbing.
I was so sad when i finished this book as i didn't want it to end and i can't wait for book 3 to destroy me even more x

One line review - Laura you made me cry! Ugly cry! Proper cry! How could you?!?!

Love the continued character development which flows so perfectly from the first book as we continue to learn more and more about who they are, along with new characters been introduced. I love them all, even the ones I hate, its just so well done!

I'm still not over that ending, I think I have had permanent tear stains down my cheek since reading it, how could you!

I am honestly so excited to see where this books goes and Laura, if this doesn't get picked up by a publisher then they are all made because wow girl, these books are on fire and filled with something that is addicting!

A great sequel. There are still characters povs that I prefer more than others and I do think this book could have been about 100 pages shorter but overall I really enjoyed it. The ending omg, while it’s not a complete cliffhanger, why would you leave it there!!! Kazaar remains a favourite character of mine and I found myself really liking Farid throughout as well. I’m excited to read the next book in the series.
