I... really liked this? I didn’t expect to, it was my first from this author and I’m always weary of trying new to me authors, but this was free and short so I gave it a go and honestly, I’m impressed. I liked the writing, the characters and even the plot. I think it was a great length for what it was, and I think they were both quite realistic. Will definitely give this author another read.

A beautiful, emotional "Small town" romance novella about a married couple choosing eachother time & time again. I got this as a freebie & it became my 1st story by Zoe!
Told in 3rd Person dual POV, it tells Ian & Carrie's story, their comfortable married family life, sweet kids, rollarcoasting start, and few Misunderstandings & secrets that are plaguing them in present.
This story had its share of Suspense & steam, also sets up future books in this series. I liked when all the fears finally boiled over & Yay, Ian+Carrie talked it all. Ya, it was beyond due. I especially love how it works out. Ian's so thoughtful & I loved that Surprise at end! Carrie isn't too bad either, relatable & sorta sweet (I get why Ian loves her!). Overall, this is a good story!

A beautiful Small town romance novella following a married couple. It is an emotional journey through reconnection, reigniting the fire and taking a huge leap of trust when miscommunication clouds your mind. Beautifully written and a great introduction to Zoe York’s writing and her Wardham series.

Sometimes you just need to talk. Carrie and Ian are a great couple but they have serious communication problems.
