science is rough. but it was definitely interesting! and i listened to an audiobook...read by none other than the author himself, so that kept it interesting.

I probably didn't understand 50% or more of this book but it was fascinating nonetheless.

This is one of the books that made me a space and science nerd. Hawking describes big ideas in ways that make them understandable. Yes, the book is a little dense but it's worth the read.

Poses more questions than answers. Talks in circles. Really has nothing to do with the history of time and instead just recaps several theories about the universe. There are a couple of interesting chapters on black holes. But this is more about space than time, though in some ways I guess he purports they are one and the same. Be sure to read the appendix because he changed later some theories from the book. Overall the writing and diagrams are not super well explained for a lay audience and I've read many far better books on space, time, and quantum physics.

Interesting but way too complicated, one needs a very good understanding of physics to really enjoy this book.
