Only 10 or so pages in so far, but am already so impressed! It's the perfect combination to build an adult picture book.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND even if you "don't like reading" as an adult. Practical advice on learning who you are and why you should be confident and proud of that.

I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in the arts. If you are yourself in the world of the arts even more reason to read it.

There was nothing groundbreaking about reading this book and for a piece of literature written in 2019, some of the tips were clearly written from the place of a privileged white man. Plus there were editing issues. Really didn’t enjoy this.

I checked this book out from the public library. The title caught my attention, then I decided I liked the cover. I decided I had to read this book. I actually took a few pictures of pages because I liked what the written words said to me. I like that this book was matter of fact and to the point. It was not abrasive, but it really told me what I needed to see.
I had never heard of the author before, but I looked him up and now follow him on social media.
The reason for 4/5 stars is because some of the font was small, some was large, and there is a lot of graphic design that confused me. Some items were drawn on two pages, some were read one page then the other, and some were read across from page to page and then line by line.
