Super cute! Honestly, I wasn’t sure where it was going for awhile, but as the volume progressed things got interesting. Can’t wait to continue the series!

It was strange to revisit this one, having been my first shōjo manga. I don't have a pleasant reading pace for my own taste, but it was a quick read. The chapters are few; what makes the author achieve the goal of pages per volume is their length. Before leaving the technical part, it's always good to reiterate that calling the characters "white prince" and "black demon" instead of their own names is something strange to read. The protagonist fantasizes them way too much.

It's not exactly the ideal, fully consenting kind of relationship. I don't romanticize it, but I did romanticized in the past. And even though I know so-so what's coming, it's difficult to have a structured opinion based on just four chapters and old shallow memories of the future of the story.

Fun read

It’s the first volume so the story does not get very deep. But it is a fun fast read.
It is an enemies to lovers plot. All the main characters are interesting enough, even if the heroine is a little weak. Hoping she gets a bit stronger.

I really enjoyed this one. ^_^

I know I shouldn't have and I know Kurosaki-kun is kind of a jerk, but I have a soft spot in my heart for jerks and bold heroines.

Definitely will be continuing to read the rest of the series and I highly recommend this one as long as you don't mind less than perfect main characters.

While it wasn't anything new, I have a thing for broody male leads. If only our main character would pay more attention to Kurosaki.
