- I’m really enjoying the Punk Hazard arc; Cesar Clown is a fantastically written villain (despite being a setup for Doflamingo), Law gets a really interesting spotlight, Smoker and Tashigi get some development, and the crew get to show off more of their powers

This volume was by far my favorite of the Punk Hazard arc! Zoro and Tashigi’s fight against Monet, Mocha’s sacrifice, Luffy’s very satisfying beat down of Caesar, and Law’s monologue to Doflamingo were all just absolutely excellent. Luffy’s refusal to bow down to any kind of authority or power never fails to make me grin, it’s always just so good!
