Really wanted to like this. I enjoyed the first few chapters, filled with mainly music history & the background for ‘Mayhem’ (the main subject of the book). Only got about halfway through before the ‘unbiased’ book starts to feel biased (long story short- this book gives a LOT of leeway to a nazi, and I was over the antisemitism/racism soon after it started) first 1/3rd of the book is great to learn the history of Metal & Norwegian Metal.
