The most perfect book to finish May with! I adored Luna and Donnelly, and their first book was so cute. I can’t wait to get to their other two books. I always love being back with the Addicted/Calloway characters

this cover is horrendous but i love luna and donnelly so so much. i feel like i see so much of myself in lunas pov and hearing donnellys story just made me sad

this book had everything i could ask for and the parallels omg

the only reason i’m hesitant to give it a five star is bc of this cover but still all around perfection to #me

I loved it!! It was a great intro to luna and Donnelly’s relationship!! Loved how we got to see more of Xander, tom and Eliot. I also cannot wait to see Lo and Donnelly taking down Donnelly's family. On a side note, this book made me miss the core six even more.

“My heart metaphorically pancakes. Flipping and flopping in a way that I’ve come to recognize as a clear sign I have spotted an attractive specimen on planet Earth.”

These two are just a pack of weirdos and I’m here for it. I liked how it wasn’t purely based on sexual need/attraction. They have liked each other for years and always circled around one another.

Luna and her otherworldly-ness is just wild. Donelley had a horrible upbringing but has his found family with the Yale boys and the families/security.

“What are we, space babe? It’s been written in the stars. And this—it can never be unwritten.”

i wanna be rational with my rating here and not just give this book 5 stars because i love lunnelly so much… but i love lunnelly so much.

seriously i knew something was special with them since i started this series, and while i will admit the hit or miss way KBR writes scared me… they didn’t fuck this up. they ate this up actually!!

i love love love luna hale. my little space girl. she deserves all good things. she just wants to write her stories and be a good sister/friend/gf/person. but she already is!! the best of the best. i really love her buddyguardship with frog. frog is just so cool and i love how good of a friend she is to luna. anyway i love luna so so much

and i love love love donnelly!! he also only deserves good things. he’s so silly and lighthearted with such a terrible family and past, but he never lets them bring him down with them!! i love his friendship with farrow and his blossoming something-ship with lo. trust when i say these two could be such a good power up!!

them together is EVERY

actually not that bad in comparison to some of the other books- again, only read this series because it's a spin off but I enjoyed the parallels in this story to the addicted series

It seems like the last three Like Us books went off the rails, so I’m happy to say Krista and Becca Ritchie have the series back on track with Misfits Like Us. This is Luna and Donnelly’s story that Lunnelly shippers have been waiting for.

I never realized how similar Luna Hale and Paul Donnelly are, even though Luna was born into American Royalty and Donnelly was painfully poor and basically abandoned growing up. They each love sci-fi, they both feel like misfits, and neither one cares what other people think of them. Donnelly not only accepts Luna’s quirks; he understands them. The two really are made for each other, and I enjoyed all the tender and funny moments they share. They are fire.

The biggest obstacle in them becoming a couple is that Luna’s dad, Lo, hates Donnelly. The book delves more into that, as well as the tension between Donnelly and his former client, Beckett. Despite Lo’s animosity towards Donnelly, I loved their banter. It reminds me of the banter between Lo and Rose, and sometimes even the one-upmanship nature of Maximoff and Farrow’s banter.

I’m looking forward to seeing how things shake out with Donnelley’s family and whether Lo can come to terms with Luna and Donnelly being together.
