I forgot how GOOD this edition of Spy School is!! The action! The setting! The Hale family!
Mr. E!
The Ben and Erica moments! Ben figuring everything out again!!

This is the last book in the series that I am rereading - somehow I believe I have not read the next FOUR!! I am so excited to read NEW (to me) Spy School books. But before that, I just want to say how much I enjoyed this edition. I didn’t remember much from this particular book but it was amazing, just as I should have expected. Stuart Gibbs does an incredible job creating an original and believable evil plot every time, and then having the agents-in-training thwarting it in a super cool and simultaneously very relatable way. Ben isn’t the coolest or best spy, but that’s what makes him such a perfect main character. And the character development for all of them has been so perfect throughout the series. Erica is one of my favorite characters EVER and watching her grow is the best thing. My only complaint is
get out of here with the Ben and Zoe thing. I know it’s for extra drama but… I will love Ben and Erica forever.

I’ll just keep saying it, but everyone should read these books. They are perfection.

This one picks up right where Spy School Goes South ended, so I'm glad I had it on hand to read right away. Another phenomenal entry in the Spy School series. The relationships between Ben, Erica, Zoe, Mike, and the rest of the spies make more sense if you read the series in order. Highly recommended for grades 4 & up.
