I don't really have much to say about this book unless I want to repeat my reviews from the last six books, but this book was quite enjoyable. I must say, I wasn't expecting things to go down the way they did, and Chip and Jawa playing a minor yet very important role in the book?? I loved that.

Spy School British Invasion is the seventh book in the Spy School series.
I actually thought I might have gotten tired of the series by book 7. Boy was I wrong!
Spy School British Invasion is a fast paced and exciting novel full of bus chases, sewer jaunts, and helicopter rides.
Stuart Gibbs certainly seems to have pulled out all the stops on this one!
Not to mention that if you like any of Stuart Gibbs’ other books you will most certainly like this one.
After all it contains Stuart Gibbs’ trademark excitement and humor!

Early onset adolescent chauvinistic brainrot.
The feminist point played like like pandering.

Finished this one about a week or two ago, and I'm sure missing having this series to read.  Super light, entertaining, and always good for a good chuckle.

Immediately after the gang's adventures in Mexico, they chase SPYDER off to Britain, where they end up meeting up with a coding whiz who lives in a massive castle, and racing so quickly by London's major sites that they don't really get to see any of them - but does that even matter when your life (and the whole world) is on the line?

This was an interesting one as Ben had to dig a little deeper in himself and do some soul searching about why he was a spy and if he was good enough.  It was nice seeing the characters reach a little deeper and have to grow a little closer during this book.

The next book unfortunately doesn't come out until Fall 2020, so until then...off to some new book series.

I'll go 8 of 10 overall and 5 of 5 for readability.  I'll miss my light, easy reads!  These have definitely been amusing, even to an adult.  (C'mon, there's a little middle school humor in all of us, right?)  Got any other great middle grade/YA books for me?

I feel like these books are getting less good but maybe that's just because I'm getting older and am no longer the target audience. I just read them because I gotta finish the series I started! But seriously, why don't they just defeat SPYDER already?
