Fun romp through the woods, to the ocean, then to one of the greatest cities in the world and back again, to ask whether magic is real or not… the answer may depend on who you ask…

I enjoyed this book more the first book in the series and I look forward to the conclusion.

I’m still on the fence about some plot points, but overall, this is an enjoyable series though not as good as Leven Thumps.

Fantastic second book in the series. While the first book felt like it wrapped everything up, this book loosened our expectations of those tied up ends and had its own fully engaging plot.

Continues the story of Ozzy Toffy, Sigi, and Rin. The snark , life lessons, and unbelievable dangerous situations are still part of the story. It's a lot of action with a lot of philosophy. Ozzy is slowly discovering why his "birthmarked" finger is the way it is, and bad guys are after him, trying to get the formula for world domination that his parents developed.

Rin is Rin, but as this story unfolds one begins to wonder if indeed he is as magical as he claims.

I feel like this second book is just more of the same thing. Not much was developed for Ozzie besides his magic taking him places against his will. He's still dwelling on his parents, which got old to me. They went on another misadventure but somehow got off the hook for the damage and destruction that they caused in their wake. Rin is in and out constantly just like in the first book. It was just average to me.
