I really loved this book!
The cover, gorgeous!
Second chance tropes are always my fave!
It was definitely refreshing to read about black characters in a realistic and relatable way.
The way he loved her so fiercely & in a way that still respected her boundaries was *chefs kiss*
Overall, I’m definitely rooting for Damien & Charlotte ❤️

Always here for Black love stories. I loved the main characters. I just wish we got MORE time with them together. The slowest of burns. I kept reading and watching the page numbers get closer and closer to the end and all I could think about was WHEN?!

Good Read
Love this book! Especially, the female main character best friend’s name! Truly a great story about unconditional love. Definitely an awesome read

This was ok for me. I love second chance romances however this fell a little flat for me. I got uninterested midway but still had to finish it.
The therapy sessions were the highlight for me as the things Charli talked about with her therapist was valid and realistic.
The editing of this made it hard for me to enjoy as I wasn’t a fan of the format.

The first half of the book was draggggginggggg, like where’s the plot??? are they going to be fantasizing about each other every page?? It was also hard for me to get into because it was written in the third person. it was just missing something from the story.

Romance book that took 200 pages for them to get together. Don't waste my time like that.
