Gentle Remonstration

Such a simple but powerful book. At the end of reading it you have a choice to make about your faith. Well worth the read.

Murray speaks powerfully to the importance of emptying ourselves of self, the power and work of the Holy Spirit within the life of the believer, and the power and omnipotence of God.
I would highly suggest this to all Christians if you would like to be broken by your self dependence, and would like to be called into intimacy with Christ.

I was so encouraged by this wonderful reminder that God requires righteousness in us and God accomplishes righteousness in us! This book both spurred me to pursuing God wholeheartedly, while reminding me that only God can accomplish absolute surrender in my heart! I am not weighed down by the idea of how short I fall of the standard, but encouraged by the fact that I need only abide in Christ!!

This book really made you look at yourself, and your relationship with the Lord. Are you absolutely surrendered to Him?

This book was life changing the first time I read it. It is still a much needed reminder that God doesn't want just part of my life, He wants all of me. If I will totally and absolutely surrender to Him, He will fill me with Himself.

SOOO GOOD!!! It was free on audible and a quick listen. I feel like I need to listen to this over and over and over again. So much truth and reminders of what we are called to as followers of Christ.

Digs deep into what it means to surrender your life to the Lord. Appears to be a series of spoken sermons that were made into a book.
