I was a little bit of an idiot and jumped into the Max Ride series with this book, not noticing the whopping "5" on the cover.. Still found the plot amazing even though I had no idea what was happening. That's how you know you've found a keeper. So after going back and reading the actual books to the point where I finally got what was going on, I think this manga is a qualified success.

"Maximum Ride v.5" by NaRae Lee follows the flock after escaping the flock wants to have a home except for Max but are recaptured by the school.

I would give "Maximum Ride v.5" by NaRae Lee a 5-star review because, all the relationships are a slowburn, the art & action were great, and there were parts that were sweet and funny.
