I liked the cozy atmosphere this story was setting and then nothing happened. I felt a little let down and I can’t think of a kid I would give this to.

A warm fuzzy book about time spent with grandma. This would make a great one-on-one story.

I’m a sucker for a multi-generational bond in a book and this was so exception! So cute!

There's not much story here, but it doesn't need one. It's just this lovely little slice of life where a young girl spends time with her grandmother. You see a very loving dynamic and the young girl taking pleasure in the small joys that come from that. Beautiful illustrations. Sweet story overall.

A sweet book about Maud and her grandmother, Grand-Maud. Every week Maud spends the night at her Grand-Maud's apartment. They have breakfast for dinner, watch old movies, and Grand-Maud tells stories about her childhood while Maud dreams of her future. A lovely celebration of the bond between grandparents and grandkids. I enjoy [a:Kenard Pak|7182574|Kenard Pak|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s illusrations overall, they are squared-off and linear with a really soft palette, which adds a warmth to the story.
