Very interesting! From the looks of the reviews on here, I'm in the minority, but - this followed the ending of the game that I didn't choose (the guilt was too much for me, okay!). It's really interesting to see them taking a stab at what could've happened after the big final decision. Being back in this universe is fun, and I'm excited to see where they take this, uhh... problem.

Yay! So happy and relieved! They got it right! This is our Chloe and Max, they're hella cool and they're still having pirate moments. The design elements that hark back to the game will have you feeling totally Blackwell and the art and colours are lush.

I didn’t actually play LiS but I watch my wife obsess over this game so much that I knew the entire story, the characters, listen to the soundtrack on my own time, and have been wanting to read these since they came out. So happy I’m finally getting to them. This one was really good and I love the idea of what happens after trauma (because what Max is going through feels very real, at least to me).

A great sequal to the game. It was a bit confusing in the beginning for me, but it was a nice read

Much respect. The writer respects the multiplicity of the game, and honors them wonderfully in this story!

Do not read until you have finished the game tho, ok?

This book really carries on the spirit of the games. It also occurs partially in a timeline where Max and Chloe are "just friends" so i hope they explore their romance in a new way. The premise of this first issue is fantastic for an epilogue, and I can only hope it can carry on the momentum of these very lived in characters.

Me: STOP HURTING MY BABIES

Also me: GIVE ME MORE OF MY BABIES

There's some kind of lesson about the nature of choice hidden somewhere in here.
