4.5 stars**A strong start to the graphic novel series. It was fun to return to the universe and it’s characters. The plot line centering around Max flickering between alternate timelines is very interesting.

Iiiiiiiinteresting. I read it because I loved the game so much, and it was intriguing to see which particular choices were made in the universe that led to this book, but I wasn't super sold on the story until close to the end when the story hook is made abundantly clear and it's time to go back to Arcadia Bay, wait, to be continued. But oh boy do I want to see what wreckage I left behind in that poor town! Reserving full judgement until I've read all four issues, but I have a feeling these will be perfectly acceptable servings of a universe I love.
