We're back with some action in this one. One of the Noah infiltrates the Black Order headquarters to steal back the egg the Earl uses to create Akuma. Things get more terrible when a new evolution of Akuma appears. Additionally, Lenalee must come to terms with her role as an exorcist.

This one was alright, there is a lot of carnage and desperate moments. I hope we're not in for another really drawn out action sequence. I am ready to see Lenalee kick some ass again instead of being the damsel in distress though.

Aaaaand so begins another full volume of nothing but fighting and will they-won't they scenarios when it comes to the innocence. Man, this series would be so much more fun if they just slowed down longer between fights.

An unexpected entrance by another of the Noah interrupts the order's attempts to study the akuma creation egg. With most of the exorcists still recovering, the science department is at a disadvantage. Allen is the first to recognize what is happening, as he is able to detect the akuma arriving with the Noah using his innocence-enhanced eye. As the scientists find themselves nearly at the mercy of the powerful Noah, Allen and the exorcist generals must attempt to stop the egg from being recaptured by the earl, preserving as many lives as possible.

With the increased power of the akuma, Lenalee's evolved innocence may be the only way to prevent the black order's headquarters from completely being destroyed.
