Love this series! I can't wait for more. Jack, Ben, Hamza, Sinead, Tyler, Dave, Shona.
This was a great edition in the series. Leaves it open for more near the end, it's great knowing they'll be more books to follow.
Frozen body left in a street, but how'd it get there? Where did it come from? Connections after connections, all twisted together.

I love it when the weather plays a part in books especially when it is snow. I think it is the fact that the job of finding a killer is bad enough but when you factor in snowy weather it makes the challenge all that more difficult. There are a couple of secondary stories going on in this book that I am sure will mesh together soon enough. I get to have a break from DCI Logan and his crew until February. This will give me a chance to read something else but I’m looking forward to the next installment.

The DCI Logan series is one of the best series I have read. Has it all - drama, laughs, murder and comradeship. This book, A Snowball's Chance in Hell, is no exception and was a wonderful read. A few twists and turns, and just clever writing. Look forward to the next book.

A very fast paced story with more hilarious Scottish humour the only way Kirk can write it. I love the way he’ll sneak in a one liner or a comment from one of the characters that will have me in stitches.
The characters are so very believable it’s like you’re there at that moment in time; another one of Kirk’s amazing writing tools in his arsenal. I’m really glad some of the supporting cast are getting stories of their own this is adding another layer for me to enjoy. This book has elements of trauma and major suspense which Kirk handles beautifully and really kept me on the edge of my seat.
To sum up a very well written crime, thriller with its own brand of well timed humour, fantastic characters, and a great setting. This book was so engrossing and enjoyable that I almost forgot to make notes..

There are some people who are related to me by blood that I give less of a feck about that the characters in this series. It turns out that threatening the life of one - or in this case about five - of them seriously gets my reader's heart going.
I don't really know what else to say. I've enjoyed the whole of this series but I absolutely loved this installment. It was my favourite so far.
It still had the humour, pacy plot and character progression of the earlier books, but from very early on there was this lurking threat against the team that had me so genuinely tense that I read this whole book in two sittings today.
Given the events of one of the previous books, I have trust issues and at one point it felt like I was going to have a heart attack.
Absolutely loved it. Gimme more!
