It's a very good story of what a child would have seen of September 11th from a mile of so away. Nothing gory or bloody. His father is a firefighter trainer after being injured in a fire a few year ago. I just don't like that the narrative was like his "Uncle" and his dad's friend was going to die in the towers, but instead the author kills the Black guy with twin boys. It blunts the drama impact and loss and feels kind of racist.
