FMC was insufferable.

This was a doozy. I had already read the first in the series, A Single Glance, so I was familiar with the characters. When I first read A Single Glance, I wasn’t aware that a trilogy was planned, so was disappointed by the cliffhanger.

Now I know Willow Winters’ MO so if there isn’t a heart crushing cliffhanger, I’m shocked.

The Irresistible Attraction continues with A Single Kiss and A Single Touch. The stories flow well together, making it easy to continue reading. Both Bethany and Jase show great character progression throughout the further books, showing some emotional depth.

The heat of these novels is off the charts hot, and Bethany and Jase have incredible chemistry together.

But overall I felt a little let down. And I think that has to do with the secrets Jase keeps. In the end Bethany feels seems weak, like a doormat just accepting the scraps that Jase will give her.

A good read, but not my favorite Willow Winters duo.

Good book but definitely a slow burn. It connected and developed the Cross brothers stories more which continued to weave more of a web. The spice level in my opinion was a 3/5. There was different spice with fire play but not a lot of it at all.

I don’t know why I keep reading these books and expecting them to be good. If I’m honest, it’s exactly what I expected it to be and what it sets out to be. It’s like a kind of poorly written mafia-esque story, where you won’t really like either character.

That being said, I don’t think I remember a thing from this book that I just finished. And I read Carter and Aria’s story and while it wasn’t great, I do remember enjoying it. Jase and Bethany just felt so random to me? And then whenever they mention that they have known each other for a month…come on. That is kind of the Willow Winters MO though, I think all her couples are like really intense, really fast.

I kind of needed a recap of what happened with Carter and Aria and like Romano and Marcus. Because I know Romano and Marcus are the bad guys…I just don’t remember why and it wasn’t explained again here.

Do not even get me started on the Coverless Book and the fake excerpts - I should have skipped all the sections on that. It just added nothing to the story.

Overall this one just felt way less high stakes than the previous one, even though it should have felt very high stakes because of Jenny! It was just a bit of a letdown. And obviously I am left with so many questions, but I guess it’ll have to wait for the next set of books?

Will I eventually get around to Seth and Laura’s story? Probably. But I can also see that book is over 600 pages and if it’s as boring as this one was I will probably need to wait a bit.

This reread reminded me how much I love Jase Cross

I was so excited to start this one after reading All He’ll Ever Be, but this one just didn’t hit the same

If you loved all he’ll ever be you for surely love this book

This book was twice the book that All Hell Ever be was. So I have to admit I bought Carter Cross’s story thinking it was more beauty and the beast and less mafia. When I finished it I felt obligated to try out another brother like Jase Cross and I’m so glad I did!!! This story was so good and Beth was just so much stronger than Aria which made me love it more!!! I have to go backwards a bit and read the prequel regarding Marcus the villain but I cannot wait to finish this series off with Seth and Laura!!!
