The living dead have taken over the decks of the luxury liner Campania. While Sebastian deals with grim reapers and trying to get Elizabeth's family to safety, Ciel and Elizabeth venture through the hull of the ship to find the machine that will stop the undead in their tracks. But of course things can't go smoothly as allusions to the Titanic start to crop up, forcing Elizabeth to reveal a secret she never wanted Ciel to know.

I *loved* this one. It's as if Zombieland and Titanic had a baby in Victorian England. Also? Liiiizzzzziiiieeee.
This was an exciting volume. We almost immediately meet the cute guy we saw briefly last volume, Ronald Knox, a grim reaper. He's only too happy to help out with killing the reanimated girl and even happier to trade blows with Sebastian.
While they're doing that, Ciel slips off to follow a Phoenix member into the bowels of the ship. To his dismay, Lizzie catches up to him. Snake, on the other hand, is hiding oUT in the cargo hold. Unfortunately so are dozens of the reanimated corpses. Ciel sets Sebastian on them and the beast really comes out of his devilish butler, freaking Ciel out.
The bigger freak out comes when they learn the other hold has even more of the monster and they are loose among the wealthy passengers with only Lizzie's family keeping the evil at bay. To Sebastian's chagrin, Ronald is joined by the transexual grim reaper, Grelle and he's still got it bad for the devil. Surrounded, Lizzie and Ciel look to be zombie food. Lizzie has a secret that made me see her in a whole new and much more favorable light. Whether or not they survive the zombie hoard, I'll have to wait and see.
The storyline is very interesting this time out and the art is gorgeous. It's a series worth following.
