Once I got over how fast Kate and Vincent fell in love I enjoyed the book! Definitely YA but an easy and enjoyable read. A unique take on the immortal boy x mortal girl love story and loved the setting. A bit cheesy and some of the cultural references didn’t age well but will continue the series!
Moderate: Death, Suicide, and Death of parent

I’ve read Die for Me so many times that I’ve lost count. When I was a pre-teen I was obsessed and I still reread the series once a year. I always felt utterly transported when reading it, the world building is so natural for paris and I could easily picture everything taking place. the first kiss made my heart sing and continues to do so Kate was the only character I found it a bit hard to like at times. She was just a bit contradicting to herself and it was frustrating when she couldn’t make up her mind. All the revenants were fabulous in my eyes, Jules in Particular I was obsessed with, such a charmer
