Short, sweet picture book that highlights many mainstays in communities, including doctors, firefighters, teachers, librarians, etc. The child we follow throughout the day is biracial - she has a Black father who is mayor of the town and a white mother. I really like that this book is typed in dyslexic-friendly font; it's such a simple thing to do that can make a world of difference for readers with dyslexia. I wish more picture books especially did this.
