The switches from on character to the other are abrupt, seem to lose the flow, while it also left some loose ends.

This book seemed all over the place for J.A. Jance....it is one of the JoAnn Brady/J.P. Beaumont crossover books. Beyond that, just a blah ending. I've read better from Jance.

I did enjoy this book as I always have with J.A. Jance books, but it was a bit odd as they switched back and forth between Seattle and Arizona with the two characters (JP & Brady). Can't say I would enjoy reading more books with that style, but still enjoyed the mystery.

Going back and forth between chapters was a little confusing, but otherwise a decent read. Beau has always been one of my favorite characters and I'm glad he's still around!

Book #47 read in 2016

I assumed when I saw this book was a Beaumont/Brady combo that they would at least be in the same place. I was disappointed that the stories were parallel but there was very little interaction between these two great characters.

J.A. Jance books are always good. I had a little trouble jumping from murder to murder, but I guess that should be true in real life. I got up at 2 AM to finish this one.
