I loved this so so much. I did listen to the audiobook and that gives it an extra star - the narration was so delightful that I legitimately laughed out loud at some points.

This was cute! I really enjoyed the slow burn of this romance. I know everyone doesn’t love a closed door/fade to black, but I do, and I think it worked well here. My favorite thing was probably the parts with Jonathan’s family and the slight christmassy vibes. The biggest drawback for me was the fake amnesia plot. The suspension of disbelief was difficult to maintain at points. Mostly it was just annoying and silly. But bonus points for the cat!!

This was…fine. The premise to me was just not believable enough and that shadowed the entire book. The amnesia plot line was shaky and I found myself not really caring about Jonathan or Sam’s relationship. Just not for me! Than you to NetGalley & the publisher for the ARC.

I listened to the audiobook for this and I think that's why I disliked this so much. The narrator for the audio has a very thick accent and it made it hard for me to follow the story is several places. I definitely want to give this book another try but as a physical read cause I really enjoy Alexis Hall's other books.

This is such a fun rom-com! Don't miss if you like:
- Enemies to lovers
- grumpy/sunshine
- fake amnesia (Is this a romance trope? If not, it feels like it should be.)

The characters are really likable, and I was rooting for Sam and Jonathan from the start. The writing is great, and laugh-out-loud funny throughout. It takes place over Christmas, so would be a great holiday read, but the banter is good for any time of the year.

Switched to the audio book halfway through based on other reviews. The narrator definitely helped what otherwise were completely unlikable characters for almost the majority of the book.

This was such a funny book. I really did love it, it’s sad, funny, and so fucked in the best ways possible.

I am glad to have read 10 Things that Never Happened (both ebook and audio) during the Trans Rights Readathon week. What a wild concept for a romance - faking amnesia so your boss goes soft and doesn’t fire you and your whole team. It was so wild that, at times, I struggled to actually buy into the fact that either of them were having feelings for each other. In fact, even though we only get Sam’s perspective, I actually believed Jonathan’s feelings to be more genuine than Sam’s. However, I loved Jonathan’s family, the coworkers’ shenanigans, and – of course – Gollum the traitorous cat, so overall this was an entertaining read.

Thank you Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for the review copy.

The book was entertaining enough, but at no point did I believe in the romance it tried to sell.
