2.5 for Scythe. For me this was pretty disappointing. One drama after the next and the next and the next. So many abductions and frustrating situations. Too many perspective characters. All the mysteries were kinda unsatisfying in the end.
I'm sad because I absolutely loved the other books.

Just a great wrap up to the series. I didn't really know what I was getting into with these books but I'm so glad I grabbed them and read them. You should do the same, you will not be disappointed!

Elle is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. And I love that she is a self published Aussie. Well

Nice end to the series! I still preferred the 2nd book to this one, but it was good. We finally got to see more of Bliss, War, Vincent/Scythe, and Nash together. I love their individual relationships, but when they all are together is probably my favorite. This one had quite a bit more action than the first 2 in my opinion. Each of the characters had great character development throughout the series. I’m not sure how much I can write without getting into spoilers. It was nice seeing all of the characters from the other books as well, I haven’t read the first series but I read the second one with Mae, Liam, Heath, and Rowe.
Spoiler
I can believe Bliss’s dad is the one who killed Axel! I was thinking that is was Gus, but Gus and Siren plotted against War’s dad. Those loyalties are just all messed up. And how was it that everyone simply forgot about Caleb?! Like how?!? The first thing Scythe should have did was go after him, so it doesn’t make sense that he’s still in the story. I suppose it’s the only way for Rebel to get her story started. I’m glad she’s getting a story. I wonder if she’s gonna have her own little harem too.katharine_roberts's review against another edition

I loved this. I haven't read the other Saint View trilogies but I will go back to them. I loved Scythe/Vincent and the added complications in their relationship.
But really, I just loved the characters. I'm assuming there will be a rebel focussed story next but that ending was brutal. I was going to complain that there was no conclusion to Caleb, but I guess we will come back to that!
I am disappointed there wasn't more sorted with the MC though. Gus was just left as a loose end and we didn't see how the MC has responded to Wars new family situation which seemed like it was going to be a big plot point earlier in the book.
Aside fromt hat though, I loved it!

The last book in the Psychos series was everything I was hoping. So many emotions reading this book. They took one of her men. Destroyed her business. Now she wants it all back. Secrets are revealed and shocking reveals concerning Axel. Grab this book!

I’m kind of disappointed because I felt like this series just got less and less enjoyable the farther along we went. By halfway through this one, I wasn’t enjoying it anymore and I only wanted to know what happened to Axel (tbh - didn’t see ANY of that coming) and more about War’s parents (also didn’t see that coming either!). Still, that wasn’t enough for me to love the book.
Also - WHY DID WE HAVE TO HAVE A PREGNANCY TROPE. Ugh

Felt the storyline was rushed, everything was fast paced. Even the many many sex scenes. Bliss in the second book was finally a strong female character, but in this book, back to trusting the wrong people (her ex, her stepfather, etc..). Her mom had the best turn around story, and that just fizzles off with no follow through.
Battle between V/S and who will come out in the end. The love between War and S relationship, the awkwardness when Vincent is around War and really every other character.
Felt the book was rushed, finding out Axel murderer, not very climactic, just the oddball facts. And Rebel, how could she be Bliss’s best friend and not know what her ex looked like, did not need that bonus epilogue scene. Do any female characters survive this storyline without being abused, caught off guard, and/or molested.

So I am back and forth with the Psychos addition to the Saint View universe. I’ll start by saying I am grateful that Bliss went through MAJOR growth and stopped being such a naive pushover. I won’t lie at first, Bliss annoyed the hell out of me. I understand the power of gaslighting and emotional manipulation and how in a narcissistic relationship it’ll completely change you and your entire mindset. However I could never understand why Bliss never tried to escape it, unless it was because of her unexplained sense of responsibility in providing a life for her grown adult father and his family. 🤔 Either way… I was so relieved when Bethany Melissa was no longer a thing, because cringe that’s all I’m gonna say about that. Vincent, Nash, and War are as always 🔥🔥 I really enjoyed getting to understand Vincent/Scythe’s character more in depth. I feel Elle did an okay job of showing us what it’s like for someone who suffers with DID, but at times I felt it was kind of unrealistic, but that could just be me. Nash and War are tied for being my favorites this time around. I don’t particularly like where Elle left this story in terms of everything still being up in the air with War and his president status and his plans moving forward with his MC. There’s still Vincent’s family business and his mother’s unseen threats left unanswered and her arrangement she wanted him to fulfill.
This story started on the heels of Axel’s unfortunate and heartbreaking death (murder) but I feel the father we got in to the storyline the farther we drifted from that. There was just a lot of questions left unanswered and loose ends left unresolved in my opinion. I did like this 3 book addition in to the Saint View universe, I just didn’t love it. I don’t really think the harem was the right choice in terms of personalities and matchups, but I did like each man individually. I will say though I think HANDS DOWN, Scythe and War’s dynamic and relationship was freaking HOT!! I could read an entire book based on those two alone and never get bored. Yummmmmmy!!
