This series was quite a ride. I went in blind after booktok kept tempting me. Wow, is all I can say & am now going to have to go back & read the prison series for more of this world

How does one acquire their own Scythe? Asking for the class. He was my favorite part of all three books (he’s my favorite out of all nine books that I’ve read by this author) which I should have guessed because Vincent was my favorite part of the last series.

I had started reading the first book in this series before I realized it was the third series in the same universe so I stopped and went all the way back even though they can be read as a single entity three book series. I like revisiting characters from previous books so I’m very glad I did that especially to find the very best lawyer around being included in every series. As he should be. I hope that continues.

I’m not going to lie this author follows a very similar general storyline for each of these series. Someone close to the FMC dies and then it turns into a whodunnit and along the way she falls in love with three men, two of which will fall in love with each other as well. That being said. I will read every single one and be impatiently waiting for the next one she writes. Every. Single. Time. Happily.
The next series looks to be different and yet it could be the same thing and I wouldn’t even care. Not even a little bit.

The only thing I wish was different in the books was that everyone in the harem ends up being in love with everyone. Not “loving in a brother sort of way”. I want “this is my boyfriend and my boyfriend and my girlfriend,” said by the third boyfriend.
Then these series would be perfect in my eyes.

Elle can do no wrong and this series is another example of that, but that cliffhanger in the extended epilogue?! How can you do us like that?

I really liked the character growth in this final book, especially for Vincent/Scythe. It broke my heart for War that it was only Scythe that he had that connection with, but I get it.

Perfection! Everything you could want in the last book of a trilogy. The banter, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Aussie authors write banter like none else and Scythe takes the cake here. I love the internal conversations between Vincent and Scythe. The way all 3 men interract together is amazing and then between War and Scythe is next level. I love how Bliss really came into her own in this book. The twists and revelations were wrapped you so well in this. I'm sad its over but I know it won't be the last time I read about these 4.

Overall I really liked the series but I found the ending predictable, if you couldn’t tell that Callum was going to be Caleb well I guess that would have made it more enjoyable but I saw it from a mile away. And I didn’t like that it ended like that with him hurting rebel and just ending there. I most likely won’t read her book but I did enjoy the series, just kind of upset with the way this ended
