FIVE⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ STAR AUDIOBOOK REVIEW (It Ends with Violence)

This is the third book in the Saint View Psychos series. This book picks up where book 2 ended. The raid had just happened at the club and Vincent is missing. This book was full of emotions. So many twists happened. Just when I thought I had parts figured, I was wrong. I really loved Vincent/ Scythe’s character. He really brought so much more to this book. I can’t wait for Rebel’s books. Michelle Price and Gregory Salinas did a phenomenal job narrating this series.

The twist on who the murderer was great but the rest of the book was just lack luster. Like bliss kinda was too soft on everyone and the way they just let the police do their jobs was dumb. Like I wanted them to kill all the bad people but they just let them go like seriously girly killed wars parents and they were like oh nah she’s fine we’ll just shun her. Or everything that Caleb did and they just let him roam free, Vincent should have been out there searching for mans. I get that it’s setting up for revels book but it just made everyone seem weaker.

It’s super annoying when bliss just runs towards danger that could be easily avoided if she told someone

Tropes/Themes:
-Dark why choose romance
-Bliss (h) x War (H) x Vincent (H) x Nash (H)
-Age gap (Nash)
-Dead brother’s best friend (Nash)
-Friends to lovers (Vincent/Scythe)
-MC heir hero (War)
-Sociopath hero (Vincent/Scythe)
-Sword crossing (War x Scythe)
-Multi POV
-Book #2 in a trilogy (ends with a cliffhanger, must be read in order)

I hate to say it, but this triplogy was a BIG miss for me. This last installment in particular was SO BORING. The stakes felt incredibly low and all of the “big reveals” were super anticlimactic. I also didn’t like the way mental illness was portrayed here in regards to Vincent/Scythe’s character. After loving his character in the Saint View Prison series, I felt like Elle Thorpe did him a little dirty here. Giving him a DID diagnosis made him a little bit like a character/oddity. It was also clear that the group preferred Scythe to Vincent, which was super annoying. I’ll still continue to pick up books from Elle Thorpe since they’re addicting and easily readable, but this series was a flop for me.

CWs for domestic violence, sexual assault/rape, graphic violence, torture, murder, questionable mental health rep (DID), loss of a loved one, sex work/prostitution, substance abuse, child neglect/abuse

Great end to the Psycho's trilogy. Elle brings the storyline all together beautifully! The narration for this series is top notch! Michelle and Gregory do an amazing job!
