Review for the series:

People say women like sex and murder books. If that’s true this series is perfect, because it has it all!
The beginning of the book is a little confusing, because it’s shows the past of Bliss’s life in the trailer park when she would go hungry for days, until her (half) brother and best friend rescue her to the woods, feed her and keep her save. But he was just a kid himself so he send her to live with her rich father.
A few years later, her brother calls her and tells her a secret code - which means run!!!
But she didn’t run. She went to find her brother. And found him dead. And she wants to know who killed him.
And you will have no ideia who the fuck killed her brother until the end. I couldn’t even come closed to guessing.
Not only that but she has to deal with her crazy, rapist ex boyfriend. And a crazy ex girlfriend of one of her new men. And a “mother in law” that runs an assassin’s family. Easy peasy

Loved it

Scythe/Vincent is my favorite character he is sweet and spicy, just the way I like it. I am going to dive into Rebel's book, because I am hoping to see a certain character suffer and it isn't Rebel by the way. I really enjoyed seeing each boy grow and I hope one day all three of them get their own little minis...I could just imagine the chaos.

2nd listen (changing rating to 5*)
Elle Thorpe's "It Ends with Violence" is a gripping dark romance that comes to life in its audiobook format. The story delves into a tumultuous relationship marked by past scars and secrets, exploring themes of love, redemption, and the impact of violence.
It picks right up where the second book ended.

One of the highlights of the book is the return of past characters, which adds depth and continuity to the series. The narration is a standout, delivering powerful and immersive performances that capture the essence and intensity of the characters' emotions. This enhances Thorpe's vivid and evocative writing, making the audiobook a truly engaging experience.

The plot is well-paced, combining suspense and raw emotion with moments of tenderness and hope. I particularly loved the suspense and mysteries woven throughout the story, which kept me on the edge of my seat. I also love the spice, bloody love the spice. I also found myself forming love-hate relationships with some of the characters, a testament to Thorpe's skill in creating complex and relatable personalities.

However, the book ends with a small cliffhanger, which I didn't particularly like. While this series concludes here, and since I have already listened to the next series, I know that new series will address the unresolved threads, which is something to look forward to.

Overall, "It Ends with Violence" in audiobook form is a captivating listen for fans of dark romance and suspense. Thorpe's compelling narrative, enhanced by exceptional narration, makes this a must-listen that will leave a lasting impression. I’m eager to see if future books will cover the intriguing cliffhanger left in this series

1st listen
Wow I loved this series and the narration was fantastic. This book flowed directly after the other and finished well, however it ended in a small cliffhanger which I was surprised about. I went online and found Elle has written other series which maybe I should have listened too first. I am picking each series can be read as stand-alone but slot into a timeline. Since this is the first time listening to Elle I am definitely going to listen to the rest.
Series order I found online, High, Prison, Psychos, Rebels, Strip
I think Libby has High so excited about that.
The whole series was dark, sexy, spicy, funny, mystery, action packed and did I say spicy. I would totally recommend it.
