The addition of chapters from Caleb, Rebel and Siren’s perspective weren’t my favorite. I would have rather it stayed with Bliss and her men.

I enjoyed this series! However, I felt like the ending was kind of rushed. I liked that we got to see the people from the other books at the end. However, I feel like there wasn't closure with Scythe/Vincent's mom and the "family business." I was left wondering where he stood with it all.
<Spoiler> and did War step down as prez? Or was Bliss the new Fancy? Was Hawke all in or was he resentful/mad at War? Also Bliss didn't really seem to need to take the time to process that she knows who murdered her brother? I would have liked answers to these questions to feel like the whole series was wrapped up, but maybe they'll make an appearance in Rebel's books? I don't know I just feel like there were a few things that were brushed over to end the series. It was still good, Bliss continued to grow, the relationships in this book seemed to grow stronger which was nice to see.

Where do I start with this one? The first 2 books in the series were 5 stars for me, but this one missed the mark. Firstly, it was a very wishy washy start that seemed directionless and went all over the place. The main plot from the firat book seemed like an afterthought. There were minor character points of view that didn't need to be included. The spice was there if it felt a bit forced. There was a trope introduced in this book that I really don't like, though I was able to overlook it more or less. Things towards the end went fast, more like the author was trying to cram what should have been the main plot into the book to wrap up that loose end. Bliss' character seemed to hit an unfortunate plateau in character development. And then the epilogue... what the hell?! The first epilogue was a nice addition... the second really wrecked the ending of this series for me and took this to a barely 3* read. I'm disappointed overall with this last installment of what was a stellar series. It could have been so much better if there was a clear plan for the plot development, and that also would have made the spice less forced.

Finally, the last book in this trilogy left me feeling like things were tied up way too fast, and we missed out on seeing many things. We finally learned about what happened to Bliss's brother, which was shocking, and I loved it. Scythe and Vincent understand, and I like how that story angle worked out. But I feel like Nash was just thrown in there. I did love it whenever he and Bliss were one-on-one, but that was rare. Everyone picked on him for being the 'old guy.' As for War, I really wanted more from his story. We spent the most time with him and his motorcycle club, but we didn't get to see a satisfying conclusion for him. He took over after his father's accident. Still, we learn what truly happened in this book, and after everyone gave him so much hell for not being a good leader and spending all of his time with Bliss, I wished we would've seen him clean house. He had to come to terms with someone he trusted killing his father, hurting his mom, and almost killing him, and in the end, he banishes them, and we don't even get to see it happen! I hated that we didn't even get to experience it! This whole series felt really entangled with Thorpe's other series. It was used to hype them up, so it was hard not to feel like I was missing things, especially with Vincent and his friends. The end of this one also sets up another book/series that will revolve around the woman working at the bar. I want to see what happens there because it will be brutal. I don't know if I will pick it up when it comes out.

Sexy, suspenseful fun. Tangled webs in all sorts of ways.

Only real negative is the last scene. I'd rather it hadn't happened at the end. I mean, I'd rather it hadn't happened at all, but I suppose that's how she draws us in to the next series...
