Mostly European history very light on Asian history especially Indian hisotry and it's contribution to world.

I'm not sure. Mr. Blainey isn't the most eloquent of writers. His transitions a bit awkward, there were some weird contradictions, and very often I felt like I'd been promised more information than I actually got. But I learned a little, which, I suppose is the point.

Loved this book. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to know a broad history. It moves geographically very well, taking you from one side of the world to another without huge jumps.

Minus one star because I feel like in some parts, there were things that were missing and the last chapter feels stuck on.
