This is well-written and faced-paced but it made me feel sick. These two awful people murder an innocent man, cover it up, and end up HEA? And all because the wife has affair with the guy? Ew. . Are we supposed to be cheering them on?!
Vigilante justice isn’t my bag.

The books started with a bang. It got a little boring and then picked back up in the middle and looked super promising. However, it lost it towards the end for me. I don’t enjoy it when everything has to be explained by one character in a couple of pages right at the end. There was also a lot of unanswered questions. Like who was it that recognised her during the first live stream? Who was giving her the advise to lift up the fireplace stone. I feel like it was a missed opportunity. It would have been perfect if it was Scotty doing both of these things. I also hate how many books have the main female character be emotionally weak. Its so tired.

This is such an amazing book, I was sucked in from the first page. My boyfriend bought it for me and I can’t wait to make him read it. The entire time you’re thinking one thing and then that twists and then you think another thing and that twists. There’s just so many twists and I actually love the way it’s done. I usually spoil in my reviews but for this book I could never, you have to read this with no idea what’s coming and get on the rollercoaster cause omg I was gasping in the train whenever I read this. It’s also so incredible reading it on the train because I’d pass the stops that were mentioned in the book as I live in Auckland. Loved feeling connected in that way. I honestly think this book is on my list of favorites and I can’t wait to try and forget it so I can read it again and be just as shocked the whole way through. You will not want to put this book down. I just can’t recommend it more.
