This was a very delicate way to introduce younger children to the Holocaust. Clear, well-illustrated, to the point without being over dramatic. Plenty of opportunities to start independent lines of student directed inquiry as a result.

Very realistic and it allows children to connect with the horrendous night that was part of the Holocaust, without it being too hard for them to understand or scary. The artwork was very well done.

A good way to introduce children to Kristallnacht, the start of the Holocaust. Seen through the eyes of a cat, it features as an unfathomable, inexplicable, sad event of discrimination, violence and abuse.
