Another 5 star rating for this series! Firstly, thank you to Chloe for the ARC of this book. This book takes the step up to new adult and there is a bit of spice as the books goes on.

This book delves deeper into the the lore in this world as well as the feelings and motives of the characters. This lends its self to further the plot and character development for all of those involved. Faythe continues to be my favourite character and watching her battle with her own nightmares and feelings is engaging. I was sad in the last book about a certain fae guard but happy to welcome her  new friends as they are brilliant. Chloe’s writing draws you in and her ability to show the different personalities of every character is entertaining and keeps you wanting more .

Zianna and Maverick were a welcomed difference to the protagonists of this story and show a varied view on sides in a battle/quest. The dark fae are such an interesting group and I cannot wait to read more about them as the story unfolds. The story telling helps us to learn their personalities and intentions which lends itself to furthering on the book.

I love Nik (my second favourite character) I cannot wait to see more of him and the others as the story continues.

Tauria’s choices show how strong of a character she is, how you can be both delicate and strong at the same time.

Chloe knows how to play on the heart strings and make you want to carry on reading to find out what will happen next. There will be tears but I won’t say if they’re happy or sad. You’ll have to read the book to find out.
