I found the story of Teddy and Gus to be really sweet and everything that I wanted it to be. I think I want Teddy to be my big sister, she’s just neat and I love her. I also really love the extra layer of familial relationships and bonds that the author weaves into these stories!

I loved Teddy and Gus' story. I loved Teddy's arc, her relationships with Riley, Emmy, and her father. My heart. The author's afterword regarding her own father kept my tears flowing. Also, "saddle up" made me cackle with glee.

Even though Wes is my favorite cowboy, this book is my favorite of the series so far. I will definitely listen to book 4 when it comes out.

Riley stole the show! ❤️

I even was only moderately annoyed every time Gus called
Teddy “Teddy Baby.” 🙄
lol. Maybe they’re just growing on me, but the whole family and their pet names weirded me out in the first book 😅 Everyone calling Riley “Sunshine” is cute though. ❤️

I really enjoyed this book it had a great pace, it wasn't too intense or spicy and had likeable characters. I usually find small town romances to be a bit predictable with too many characters minding everyone's business but this was good. Even the child was likeable and often I find writers don't write children very well, their dialogue either doesn't match their age or they're quite annoying but the writing of Reily was just right.

While this book escapes the 3rd act break up trope (whoo hoo for that!!!) their relationship felt kinda of rushed. They went from screaming at each other to feelings of love in the space of a 2/3 chapters without a lot of relationship development. However I'm a total goner over the single dad trope so this book would be good no matter what
