A book less about investigating and more about the author sharing anecdotes from his career and banging on about how great he is.

This was an interesting one. Especially as a lot of the cases mentioned are ones in the public eye. However, I found the author to be a little insufferable and that let this down for me. (It could however be that I am usually much more interested in fiction books)

Some interesting information about cases and investigations, however a bit confusing and repetitive at times. I also found the author's tone to be a little pompous.

This was an interesting and educational read, however I constantly felt held at arms length by the author. I think this was the authors slightly egotistical and grandiose manner. I would still recommend this but it is not one of the best I’ve read in this genre.
