I listened to this one as an audiobook.

It got half a point for being so short I finished it in a day.

This wasn't BAD by any means, it just wasn't what I was anticipating. I did not expect a forced proximity romance in what I thought was going to be a spooky book.

Oh well.

Well, yikes! I'm all for learning about your family history, but if mine ended up being like this one, I'm not sure what I'd do!

Imagine inheriting a house from a relative you were pretty sure hated you, and not only that, but you were only one of two heirs? The other heir? Oh, well, he's your arch nemesis from your childhood. Great, right? Add in to that, weird notes being left on your doorstep insinuating that your Nana just might have a dark side. Darker than you could ever imagine.

While this story was not as "twisty-turny" as some of this author's previous books (in my opinion) the jaw-dropping revelations that come to light are equally as gasp-inducing! I didn't expect what her Nana had been up to!!

And let's add a little forced-proximity romance element into the mix, shall we?

I love this author, and she amazes me exponentially with every new book! This one is no different! Definitely check this one out! Oh, and while you're at it, read all of her other ones as well! You won't be disappointed!
