I tried for I think over a week to read this book and I got into it a bit, but I realized that someone was going to cheat on the other and I just cannot do it. I really think this trilogy did not need to be one and should’ve stopped at the first book (even though I did end up liking the second book). I skimmed some pages at the end of this book and I knew I needed to put it down. I may try again/I may not.

This is the sequel I wanted.
“Me Before You” is one of my all-time favorite books. Even years later if I think about it I’ll start sobbing. Nothing has had an affect like that on me since My Girl...
“After You” was a C- “meh” let down, but this book was the follow-up I sought. The last half had me laugh crying and then crying. It also had that rare magic where a later book made the first more endearing to me. I remember and then I cry. And then I’m thankful it happened and I experienced it. And then I have to tell myself it’s fiction... but I love these people. I love them. They’re so real to me and that’s the extraordinary gift of this author.

Lovely, fitting end to the trilogy
(PS - I mean, I hope it's the end. I think Louisa Clarke's story has been well and fully told!)

It was nice to continue the story of Louisa Clark in another predictable romance novel, but it was nothing to write home about.

I enjoyed this book. It was easy to read, the characters relatable and I couldn't put it down. So why only 3 stars? Well I LOVED Me Before You. It covered many thought provoking issues and i think I was so emotionally invested in Louisa off the back of the first book (we won't mention the second) I didn't really get the need for a Will look-a-like and there were a lot of similarities between Will and Mrs Dr Witt which weren't really necessary. I would have also enjoyed getting to know Nathan a little better. I love how Louisa grows ans the people around her also shine under her light. Altogether a good, enjoyable read.
